Randall L. Brown has maintained and owned his firm, where he and his staff of attorneys have practice law for over 40 years.

Randall graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School Cum Laude in Lansing, Michigan with distinction receiving the most distinguished student award and thereafter was a law clerk for the Honorable C. H. Mullen before entering his private practice.

Randall represented the city of Portage as general counsel for almost 40 years. He also represents the villages of Burr Oak and Mendon, the Township of Oshtemo as well as other public entities located in Southwest Michigan. As a municipal attorney, he addresses a broad range of legal issues on a regular basis including matters concerning the Freedom of Information Act, Open Meetings Act, contracts, zoning issues, real estate, prosecution, and many others.

He was a director and is past president of the Michigan Association of Municipal Attorneys and the Michigan Municipal League's Legal Defense Fund as well as a member of various committees including the Legislative Concerns Committee. He is a member of the state and local bar associations.
